Quail Ridge will be kicking off care services towards the end of 2025 with our in-home care offering.
We will be providing high-quality, safe, resident-focused in-home care that meets residents requirements, and is a little bit posh too!
In-Home Care
The Quail Care model of in-home care is focused on providing individualised care and support services to meet the specific needs of each resident.
Our luxury villas all offer level entry, spacious bathrooms and living areas designed to easily accommodate any aids or equipment required to support in-home care.
We know that one size doesn’t fit all, so we will provide you with an individual care package to ensure flexibility, and it is designed to accommodate your current and changing requirements.
In-Home care puts you in the driving seat!
You will be able to control the services you want, as well as the frequency and timing of the services, so you can live your best life.
We will be selecting a qualified care team to help assess, guide and provide you with professional advice on how you can reach your full potential.
We will then develop a bespoke care plan to ensure we are all on the same page and work towards meeting your individual goals.
We understand that most of us respond best to receiving care from people we know and feel confident in. It is essential to us that our team develop a therapeutic relationship with each client. Residential Care Units - coming in 2027
Quail Ridge Country Club is committed to providing a continuum of care for residents, so we are currently in the advanced planning stages of building
a small boutique care house, to provide rest home, hospital and dementia care for Quail Ridge Country Club residents who may need this level of care in
the future.
We have researched the very best and most contemporary models of care, and we believe the ‘Household Model of Care’ is perfect for the care house which will provide six beds for resthome and hospital level care, and a further four beds for dedicated dementia care.
Simply put the household model of care reimagines three core elements of a traditional residential care. The physical environment, the philosophy of care, and
the workforce model. The goal of household care is to create a real community within a space that residents identify as home.
Residents will be able to take ownership of the space and professional care services will be delivered in accordance with residents’ preferences and daily
routines, as opposed to conforming to the repetitive daily schedule of traditional residential care.
Planning of activities will be dynamic and responsive, driven by what residents want to do on any given day rather than a dull, repetitive monthly rotor as is currently the industry standard.
Smaller is better
Significant evidence shows that people who receive care in smaller, household settings experience much better health outcomes and enjoy a higher quality of life than those in larger traditional residential care facilities.
Care staff, or care partners, get to know the residents they care for, and have greater visibility over resident wellbeing.
Numerous overseas studies have demonstrated that residents in small households experience better management of chronic health conditions and are less likely to have falls.
New health problems are recognised earlier, so the need for transfers to public hospitals is far lower.
Furthermore, there is clear evidence that residents experience lower rates of cognitive decline and depression when living in a household.
