Contradicting its established appearance, Quail Ridge Country Club is just four years into its seven-year building programme. Stages One, Two and Three are completely sold, and Stage 4 is

selling fast with only 3 homes left in the Stages 4A and 4B. Bulk earthworks and infrastructure development is underway now for Stages 4C and 4D and Stage 5. And there is much, much more to come.

In addition to stand-alone villas in the form of townhouses and apartments, a state-of-the-art care facility to provide aged, hospital and palliative care is planned. This facility is being designed along the “household” model embracing the Eden Alternative philosophy of care. It will keep pace with residents needs for future care requirements, and also service the needs of the wider community. Care will be available here 24/7.

A new community hub will be provided by the new club house, whose classic contemporary design will reflect the heritage of Kerikeri. The plans include a reception area, fireside lounge, restaurant, club bar, mini-theatre, library, billiard room and outdoor living and entertaining areas. The Pool House will begin construction in October 2020 and will contain a heated indoor swimming pool, gym, spa pool and sauna.

The brand new four lane bowling green was opened in April 2019 by John Carter QSO, Far North Mayor. Club Days and tournaments are already underway and there’ll be many a tale told under the shade of the pavilion.

The original homestead on the property, known as Quail Lodge, is currently providing an interim location for social and recreational activities including a lounge, kitchen, diner, games room, gym, library, and billiard room. Outside there is a barbecue area and a petanque court. There is always something going on here – from bridge to ukulele lessons.
