Well winter is upon us again and the temperatures are dropping, however living in the ‘Winterless North’ with our reputation of a subtropical climate, great fishing and scenic locations, certainly makes Kerikeri a wonderful place to be…..
The past several months have been a busy time for us with our build programme in full swing. Later in this newsletter is a stunning aerial photo of our development taken last month (June 2018). Follow the Quail Ridge story and join us on this amazing journey.
New Sales Office and New Staff

We are excited to announce that the sales team have moved to a new location within the village…. we are now operating from Site 134A, the Parisian duplex located near the entrance of the Country Club. Next time you are passing please call in to say hello – we look forward to welcoming you.
It is with pleasure we welcome General Manager, Todd Jenkins. Todd comes from Tauranga where he was the Village Manager of a large retirement village for seventeen years. Todd is very excited to have made the move to Kerikeri, loves what we are building here and is very much looking forward to contributing to the vision. With Todd’s experience and expertise he will guide Quail Ridge well through the development phase and beyond.
We would also like to welcome Corina Paveluc who started with us recently in the role of Sales Executive. Corina hails from Auckland where she had her own kitchen design company in Mt Eden. Corina is very excited to make the transition to the retirement industry where her warm sunny nature will be very welcome.
Stages 1 – 3

34 homes have been completed and are now occupied and construction is well underway on another 11 homes with estimated completion prior to Christmas 2018. A further 14 homes have been sold with construction commencing within 6 months. One spec home is ready for occupancy today and 2 more will be ready within 5 weeks.
Pool, Spa and Gym Facilities will be commencing later this year followed by the Clubhouse.
We are excited to announce that the original homestead located on Stage 1 – 3 has been converted to a temporary club house for residents. Named Quail Lodge, this facility offers social and recreational facilities for residents to enjoy. With a kitchen, diner, lounge, meeting room, library, Sky and Herald subscriptions, residents have been quick to move in and are holding regular get togethers, including Friday happy hour, Fish & Chip nights and other social events. On Monday afternoons a Mah Jong group meet, there is always a jigsaw on the go, and Bridge and chess groups are soon to follow. Within the next two weeks a petanque court will be installed, and in the next 1 – 2 months a gym and recreational room will be outfitted.
